Your FindMySpa profile (also called your listing) is what guests see on your public spa page. You can update it anytime: change your description, update contact details, adjust hours, add services, upload new imagery, and more. This guide walks you through the editor panel by panel, exactly as it appears in the client dashboard.
Where to find the editor
1. Sign in to your FindMySpa client dashboard.
2. Go to Profiles.
3. Choose the listing you want to edit.
4. Open Edit using the kebab menu (this takes you to profiles/edit).
Once you’re in the editor, you’ll see:
A fixed header showing your listing name and status (Draft or Published) and whether your work is SAVED or UNSAVED.
A set of collapsible panels (accordion) on the left.
A live preview area that updates as you edit.
Saving vs publishing (important)
At the top-right of the editor, you’ll see the primary action button:
If your listing is Draft: the button will say Publish Listing.
Publishing submits the listing for review and moves it to Pending.
If your listing is already Published (or you are editing as an admin): the button will say Save Changes.
This saves your changes and returns you to your Profiles list.
You’ll also see a Deactivate button when your listing is Published or Pending. Deactivating sets the listing back to Draft.
Tip: you can make changes across multiple panels first. When you’re ready, use Save Changes or Publish Listing.
Panel 1: Overview
Open the Overview panel to edit the core identity of your listing.
Official Name
Field label: Official Name
What to enter: your public-facing brand/venue name.
Helpful tip: keep it recognisable and consistent with your signage and website.
If you leave it blank, the editor will prompt you to add a name.
Short Description
Field label: Short Description
What it does: this is the main written description guests use to understand your spa’s atmosphere and offering.
Character limit: the editor enforces a maximum character count and shows remaining characters.
Best practice:
Lead with your signature experience (e.g., thermal bathing, hammam ritual, day spa treatments).
Use concrete details: facilities, style, setting, and what makes you distinct.
Panel 2: Contact Details
Open Contact Details to set the public enquiry information guests will see.
Contact Phone
Field label: Contact Phone
Description in the editor: “Public booking / enquiries number”
Contact Email
Field label: Contact Email
Description in the editor: “Booking or general enquiries email”
Website
Field label: Website
Description in the editor: “Full URL incl. https://”
The editor validates formatting for phone, email, and website.
Tip: for the Website field, include the full URL (for example https://www.yourspa.com). The editor will also normalize the website format when you leave the field.
Panel 3: Location
The Location panel controls your address and map placement.
How address editing works
1. Open Location.
2. If you don’t have an address set yet, you’ll immediately see a search box.
3. Start typing your address.
The search starts after about 3 characters.
4. Choose the correct result from the dropdown.
When you select a result, FindMySpa saves:
Your formatted address
Your map coordinates (lat/lng)
Your city (derived from the address)
Editing an existing address
If an address is already set, you’ll see it displayed along with an Edit button.
Click Edit to search and select a new address.
After you choose a result, the editor will show “Saving location…” briefly.
Why this matters: choosing an address from the search ensures your pin lands correctly on the map and your listing appears in the right city.
Panel 4: Hours
Open Hours to set your Operating Hours.
This panel uses the FindMySpa hours picker.
Set opening/closing times per day.
If a day is closed, mark it as closed.
Tip: keep hours consistent with what you show on Google/Maps and your website to reduce guest confusion.
Panel 5: Categories
Categories help guests (and FindMySpa) understand what type of spa you are.
Selecting categories
You can choose up to 9 categories.
Single-click a category pill to select/deselect.
Setting a primary category (★)
After selecting a category, double-click it to mark it as your Primary category.
Primary categories are visually marked with a star.
Best practice:
Pick categories that accurately describe your core offering.
Set the primary category to the one that best represents you overall.
Panel 6: Occupancy
The Occupancy panel lets you tune how busy your spa tends to be across the week.
How the occupancy grid works
Pick a day (Mon–Sun) using the day buttons.
You’ll see 6 vertical columns for that day.
Click a column to cycle through values:
0 → 20 → 40 → 60 → 80 → 100 → back to 0
Reset controls
Use Reset to clear the entire day back to 0.
Right-click a single column to reset just that column back to 0.
Note: occupancy values are used to power demand insights and related features.
Panel 7: Services
Services are where you describe what guests can book or experience.
Add and manage services
In the Services panel you can:
Add new services (treatments/experiences)
Edit existing services
Assign services to categories
As you build services, the preview groups them to resemble the public profile layout.
Add-ons
Below Services you’ll also see Add-ons.
Add-ons are optional extras (upgrades or small add-on services) that complement a main service.
Tip: keep service names clear and guest-friendly, include durations, and ensure pricing reflects your current menu.
Panel 8: Media
Use Media to upload and manage your listing images.
Upload rules
Supported: JPG, PNG, WebP
Max size: 5MB per image
Max total: 20MB total per upload batch
Images are optimised before upload for better performance.
Upload methods
Click the upload area to select images, or
Drag and drop images into the upload zone.
Current Images vs New (Not Yet Uploaded)
You may see two sections:
Current Images: images already on your listing.
You can remove them using Remove.
New (Not Yet Uploaded): images you’ve selected but which are not fully uploaded yet.
You can remove them before they upload.
Setting your cover image
You can set a cover image by clicking the small dot on an image card.
The cover image is highlighted and labeled Cover.
If you remove the current cover image, your cover selection will clear.
Tip: choose a cover image that clearly shows the mood and hero experience (bright, sharp, and representative).
Panel 9: Amenities
Amenities help guests understand what facilities and features you offer.
How to select amenities
1. Choose an amenity group (the group buttons at the top).
2. Use the search bar to quickly find a facility.
3. Click an amenity to toggle it on/off.
You’ll see a selected count, and selected amenities show a check indicator.
Requesting a missing amenity
If you can’t find an amenity you offer:
Click Request your one here
Enter the amenity name and optional notes
Submit the request
Panel 10: Policies
Policies let you control which guest-facing policies appear on your listing.
Policy categories
Policies are grouped into categories such as:
Booking & Cancellation
Health & Safety
Arrival & Etiquette
Facilities & Usage
(and in some cases) Hotel Spa Access
Toggle policies on/off
Select a category.
Click any policy line to toggle it ON or OFF.
Search policies
Use the Search policies box to quickly filter the list.
Toggle all
There is a compact “Toggle all” control for the active category:
If all are ON, clicking it turns them OFF.
If some are ON, clicking it switches the whole category in one action.
Tip: keep policies accurate and aligned with how your team actually operates.
Using the preview while you edit
As you work, the right-side preview updates to reflect your changes.
Depending on which panel you’re editing, the preview can show things like:
A production-style listing card preview (Overview)
A map preview when coordinates are available (Location)
A service list preview grouped into categories (Services)
Hours display in a guest-friendly format (Hours)
This helps you confirm your listing looks right before you save or publish.
Troubleshooting
“UNSAVED” stays visible
You have changes that haven’t been finalised. Use Save Changes (published listings) or Publish Listing (draft listings) to persist updates.
Address won’t update
Make sure you select a result from the dropdown search results. Typing without selecting won’t set the map location.
Images won’t upload
Check:
Each image is under 5MB
Your total batch is under 20MB
You’re using a supported image type
If upload fails, try uploading fewer images at a time.
